We believe that our young adults are the next generation of leaders and so should be treated and trained as such. We desire to provide character building activities along with special opportunities for fun and service.
Our young adult activities are open for single youth ages 15 to 22+. We will have several activities organized to happen in the evening after the community dinner. Please be aware that we will be outside after dark and a personal flashlight is recommended along with boots and clothing that will keep you warm and legs protected as we will be traveling to a campfire site and playing glow in the dark Frisbee golf. Sturdy tennis shoes will be fine but flip flops are NOT recommended. If you have personal Frisbees to bring please do (please label them with your name as well).
Bring dark pants / skirt and a white top / shirt if you are interested in being part of a performance demonstration.
Join us for the sukkah design and construction training sessions on Friday where you will participate in creating and building a sukkah. We will be talking about the purpose of the sukkah from scripture and applying real life necessities in the designing of a temporary shelter. During this 2 hour session, the Youth will design, collect materials and construct this sukkah for use during the week.
Instructors will be Shannon and Timothy Campau.
